Student Guide
This guide is for you if you're a student using SMIK-Af.
Your Dashboard
Your home screen shows your class, today's schedule information, recent announcements, and quick links to your report cards and messages.
Report Cards & Academic Progress
- Report Cards — once your school publishes a term's report cards, yours appears here with every subject's grade, your attendance summary for the term, your conduct rating, and your headteacher's remark. You can download it as a PDF.
- Competitive Insight — on your own profile, see your class/subject position and how it has moved compared to previous terms — shown supportively, not as a public leaderboard.
- Learning Support — (visible to you or shared with you depending on your school's settings) gentle, real-data-based suggestions on your strengths and areas that could use more support — never a judgement, always a starting point for a conversation with a teacher.
- Career & Learning Path Explorer — suggestions for future career paths and learning directions, based on your actual recorded subject performance and activities — a starting point for exploration, not a prediction.
Class Forum
Join discussions with your classmates and see your Class Teacher and Subject Teachers listed clearly at the top of the forum.
Messaging
You can message people you have a genuine relationship with in the school — your own teachers, your classmates, and (if you're a prefect) school leadership. This keeps messaging safe and relevant rather than open to everyone.
Your Profile
Update your own photo and contact details from your profile. Depending on what your school allows, classmates and staff may see a limited view of your profile — your full academic record is only ever visible to you, your parents, and authorised staff.
Awards & Positions
Any Merit Awards or Honour Roll recognitions you've earned, and any prefect/leadership positions you hold, are displayed proudly on your profile.
